Hallway is a new way to find verified roommates and neighbours in New York. Right now it’s a waitlist. This page explains, in plain English, what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

We don’t ask for your name, phone number, ID or payment details on the waitlist. We don’t use advertising trackers or sell ads.

How we use it

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only:

We may share aggregated or de-identified insights, for example “most people in Astoria want quiet weeknights.” These can’t be used to identify you, and we won’t try to re-identify anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while the waitlist is running and while you have a Hallway account. Ask us to delete it at any time and we will.

Your choices

Hallway doesn’t track you across other websites, so it doesn’t respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Security

We use reputable providers and limit who can access your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we’ll tell you promptly if something goes wrong.

Age

Hallway is for people 18 and older.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. If a change affects how we use information we already have, we’ll tell you by email first.
